My favorite memory of misspepper

Well, it would be tough to pick one favorite, but I suppose we can go with my most recent favorite memory, which happened at the Cadillac Ranch. Taking completely overdramatic “prairie” pictures with her was great. So was watching her get into a very one-sided pillowfight with my little brother.

And I still have on my answering machine a message she left me very long ago about the Church of the Divine Vision of Frank Sinatra.

I miss her, too!

An engaging speaker and amazing human being. I can’t begin to discribe the amazing things I have heard come out of this woman’s mouth. I also love that she is so informed on so many topics, as any genius poet should be. She teaches at a public university, and I really wish I went to that school. I would love to take any class from her.

I met her at an airport by accident and almost didn’t realize it was her… because there were no conspicuous bodyguards. I’ll never quite figure that out.

At any rate, she is surprisingly much shorter than I’d imagined her. Also very down-to-earth!

A story about Chris Carrabba

I used to promote for a concert venue in town. So I met the guy at my best friends house. Members of Further Seems Forever, Legends of Rodeo and Radiodriver were playing frisbee in the front yard and waiting their turn to shower. I remember five main things about Chris:
1—He subscribes to Maxim.
2—He really likes to go clubbing.
3—He’s not that great at frisbee.
4—He is the least social person in the band.
5—He was not the most interesting conversationalist in the place at that moment. By far. Then again, I guess he’s paid to sing. ;)
